Founder’s Story

Inspired by Christ’s teaching Rev. Robert Hamd and others were moved by the plight of one migrant domestic worker as she searched for safe and affordable childcare for her baby. They decided to take action and open an early childhood development center.

Several years later, their efforts developed into a faith-based NGO that demonstrates the love of Christ and focuses on providing the best early childhood education, mitigating the effects of trauma that many underserved children experience by creating a safe and welcoming environment in which they can explore and grow.

Today our 25 local women staff serve over 100 children and their families in our Bourj Hammoud site.

Our teachers utilize the Active Learning approach in their classrooms, which gives each child agency and choice in their education.

Our Adult Mentoring program reaches the families through psychosocial support, positive parenting training, and food support.

Our vision is to replicate these programs throughout the Middle East and North African region.

You're invited to help GROW change the lives of at-risk children and women in the Middle East.

Your donation supports early childhood education, adult mentoring, and food programs.
